Do you want your input to be heard and taken into consideration? Apply and create a digital future with us! We are looking for a self-reliant QA Engineer for a Polish startup company from Poznań. They are looking for a QA who will be responsible for designing detailed and well-structured tests based on acceptance criteria in tickets and who will take ownership for implementing them and managing the whole testing process.
They hope to find someone who is ready to test web applications manually and automatically, both front and backend.
Requirements:
- Min. 3 years as a QA Engineer (within it min. 2 years of automation testing experience)
- Commercial experience in creating test scenarios, test cases, and test management
- Knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks (Selenium WebDriver, Cypress.io, Cucumber, Gherkin, Postman)
- Practical experience with test preparation, execution, defect reporting and maintenance of test documentation
- Knowledge of technologies used in modern web applications: the HTTP protocol, SSL/TLS, RESTful API, HTML, cookies, localStorage
- Experience in creating test environments and test data
- Practical experience of working in Agile methodologies, knowledge of software product lifecycle
- English at B2 or higher
- Great communication skills
- Analytical mindset and team spirit
- ISTQB foundation certificate or equivalent
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of a feature quality, this includes being involved in any solution definition of a feature once Product have defined the scope
- Planning any testing and making sure any requirements are sorted out up front (environments, users, test data etc)
- Testing the feature, liaising with Dev/Product as necessary during the test phase
- Plan any go-live testing which will be needed
- Complete any Cypress/Postman new tests and updates to existing tests
