Digital Connect is a聽product family that acts as a聽linking tissue for our company鈥檚 core systems and exposes its capabilities to聽customers through discrete services APIs. It provides access to聽robust end-to-end capabilities, such as flight search, seat map, or flight purchase, it also gives Airlines full control when writing their client software. Airlines are not only able to聽establish a聽distinctive look and feel for their websites, but also design their flows for displaying information and prompting their passengers for input.
You will
- Develop and test web services backend systems
- Assist in problem-solving in both development and production environments
- Assist in the development of software technical documentation
- Work with team to聽understand problems with software and resolve them
- Respond to聽suggestions for improvements and enhancements
- Participate in agile-driven teamwork
Must have
- Experience聽1-3 years聽in developing Java applications聽(Spring, Spring Boot)
- Solid knowledge of聽Java聽and general programming concepts (including聽Design Patterns)
- Experience with聽Oracle, GIT, Maven, Jenkins
- Solid knowledge of聽SOAP聽and聽REST Web Services
- Experience in Agile development
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills in English written and verbal
- Passion and enthusiasm for software development, commitment to聽achieving goals
Nice to have
- Understanding of聽Microservices聽designs and聽service-oriented聽architectures
- Experience using聽AWS聽or GCP cloud platforms
- Experience with聽SQL/NoSQL聽and in-memory data structures (Redis)
- Experience with application servers聽(Tomcat)
- Experience with containerization-based technologies such as聽Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
- Travel/Airline industry experience
