About the team
Data Science&Cybersecurity (DS&C) is a branch of ITTI – a team of seasoned IT experts, who have been taking part in research and development projects for well over ten years. If you join our team, you will help run some of our projects, which are carried out in multinational consortia with experts coming from leading IT companies, research institutions and universities from all across Europe.
The team tracks and analyses the state-of-the-art advancements in ICT trends and solutions. We currently handle a range of cutting edge ICT projects (concerning e.g. the use of Artificial Intelligence) funded by the European Union.
Scope of responsibilities
- the analysis of challenges dictated by the project
- the investigation and diagnosis of the work that will satisfy the project requirements
- proposing solutions which leverage cutting edge technologies, including artificial intelligence
- design of ICT systems (which apply AI), in research projects
- working as a team member in the projects
- taking part in physical meetings and teleconferences (in English)
- reporting and summarising the meetings
- writing project documents, system specifications, documentation, and scientific publications
The position requires the ability to maintain communication with the end-users, and the ability to translate project lingo to coding lingo.

Our requirements
- technical IT education
- knowledge of ML pipelines – basic understanding of Python for ML and Apache Kafka
- at least B2 level of English (certificate not required)
- soft skills, ability to communicate
- ability to work independently
Nice-to-haves
- knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, Prince2)
- good ability to self-organise and timely completion of tasks
- readiness to travel (2-3 day consortium meetings, both in Poland and abroad)
- flexibility, effectiveness, ability to work to a deadline
- ability to keep deadlines and fulfil requirements dictated by the project
