Our system is the one handling flight travel requests from travel agents, online agencies, and airlines, to聽empower their search engines and agents to聽offer the most convenient flight options at the lowest price. This complex organism, consisting of several components developed optimal way mainly in C++, is maintaining a聽rate of over 7.000 transactions per second and is hosted on 3000+ servers in the cloud. The complexity of business logic requires a聽constant focus on code, design optimization and staying in touch with newest technologies to聽manage growing demand for processing power and low response times.
You will
- Develop, code, test, and debug new complex software solutions or enhancements to聽existing products
- Help design and code applications using routine and/or advanced technology
- Propose ideas to聽improve application performance and stability
- Encourage high coding standards, using best practices and high quality
Must have
- Experience and expertise in聽advanced C++聽programming
- Knowledge of programming in聽UNIX/Linux聽environment
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Very good knowledge of聽CMake, STL, Boost libraries, MPL, Object-Oriented Design聽and聽design patterns
- Knowledge of聽Database Programming
- Experience in fast-paced Software Development in聽Agile聽environment
- Proficient English, both written and verbal, and Polish on a聽communicative level
