For one of our key business partners we're looking for three candidates for the position of Linux System Engineer (DevOps / Cloud)
Conditions of engagement:
Industry: Consulting IT (project for Automotive and Healthcare area)
Location: 100% remote (on-site work also possible if needed - Warsaw / Cracow / Wroclaw)
Start: ASAP (but we can also wait for 3 months)
Salary: 165 - 200 PLN net / hour (to be determined)
Employment: B2B (with NEXT), full-time, only long-term (stable 12+ month projects)
Recruitment process (100% remote):
phone-interview with our recruiter (10 minutes)
presenting your candidacy to the client
interview with a potential supervisor (Project Leader) + technical verification (60 minutes)
(optional) an interview with the end client
decision to start cooperation
Responsibilities:
Configuring Linux and/or Windows environments
System landscape planning and development environment maintenance with increasing focus on security, comprehensive monitoring solutions and process automation
Support of the system landscape composed of internal and cloud infrastructure elements
Analysis and resolution of complex technical problems and issues
Usage of recent development methodologies and tools
Design and development of CI scripts, frameworks and scaffolding software
Software building and builds management
Technical solutions advisory
Opportunity to research potential deficiencies and improve the solution applied adequately, according to recent state of the art and own experience.
Expectations:
3y+ of experience in similar role (DevOps culture tasks and scopes are welcome, but are not a must)
3y+ of experience and interests in field of software manufacturing
Knowledge (the deeper the better or readiness to learn) of some CI, CD and DevOps environments, tools and other technologies such as Maven, Jenkins, SVN, JProfiler, XCode, Gradle, Docker, Shell, Perl/Python Maven, Jenkins, GIT, pci norm
Experience in direct collaboration with end customer along with technical solutions preparations will be a desired advantage
Fluent knowledge of English (B2+) or German (B1+) is essential and required
Nice to have skills:
Experience in databases (SQL, administration, environments), especially Oracle
Cloud solutions knowledge (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud)
ServiceNow, Secure Coding, VMware
Experience on working within an international company
