We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer for a company dedicated to helping democratize the use of AI and Machine Learning by making it simple for organizations of any size to leverage the power of their data through fast, unique, and easy-to-use tools. This innovative firm is looking for an exceptional engineer to strengthen the team and shape the company's future along with their team.
The company’s office is located in Warsaw, where all employees have an on-site onboarding week.
Ideal candidate
- Hands-on experience with backend engineering with a strong focus on the code quality is a must
- 3+ years of experience in enterprise-grade backend systems
- Proficient in modern web framework and web-backend components like RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle), MessageQueue (e.g., RabbitMQ), Modern web server (e.g., nginx), Container technology (e.g., Docker), Authentication system (e.g., LDAP), etc.
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux OS, git, Jenkins, Github, JIRA, etc.
- Java/Scala experience is nice to have
- Good knowledge and experience of the Hadoop ecosystem (YARN, HDFS, Spark) is a plus
- Innovative team player, with great communication skills (both Polish and English). Able to work independently
- A graduate degree (BS/MS/PhD) in computer science

The Role:
- Understand user stories and specifications
- Design efficient, stable, and maintainable architecture
