C++聽Software Developer (Remote position)
We, at Offshore Monitoring Ltd. (OSM), are looking for an experienced C++ Software Developer comfortable with using languages and software development frameworks such as C/C++, Qt, and embedded programming / hardware interfacing. We are looking for someone passionate about combining the skills of software design, development, and programming, as the individual in this role will be engaged in software development, implementation, and deployment for various ongoing projects. This position will report to the Principal Software Engineer (PSE).
Founded in 2007, Cyprus-based OSM has international partners and a global team located remotely around the world. We are a part of a consortium of companies with a total of 40 employees. We specialize in maritime technologies and scientific research. We work with emerging technologies with an aim to transfer them to the maritime sector and convert them into practical platforms for the shipping industry. We develop monitoring systems and sensor solutions for maritime segments using innovative approaches and unconventional techniques. OSM has also participated in 10+ large maritime R&D projects privately and co-funded by Horizon 2020/Horizon Europe.
We, along with a consortium of partners, have won a project, focused on enhancing safer navigation at Sea. Spanning 3.5 years, this project marks the first step towards autonomous shipping. Responsibilities:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Assist in managing a variety of tasks, prioritize a heavy workload with multiple priorities, and meet targets
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications, and optimizing deployment pipeline
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Implementing and ensuring compliance with coding standards
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Attend meetings (virtually and in person abroad) with other groups in the organization and possible clients, conferences, and trainings as required

Technologies:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Hands-on expertise writing code in some of the software development technologies that we work with:

About you:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Academic background in software engineering, computer science or related discipline
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽2-5 years of hands-on software development experience
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Ability to multitask and a keen eye for detail
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Ability to collaborate with a multi-cultural international team, in English speaking working environment.
