Project
The team is responsible to deliver a modern, omnichannel, real-time retailing shopping experience built on Travel AITM for low-cost carriers (LCC). Enhance direct offer capabilities to drive airline yield. LCCs require low-cost and highly configurable flexible eCommerce capabilities and provide the ability for LCC to process Offer and Order transactions. Provide reduced cost through consolidation of common components including consolidation of the offer management system.

This is a unique opportunity to work on a critical and operationally complex high-performance product that also interacts with several mission-critical products. That will help the selected candidate to work on high-performing products as well as expose opportunities to other products and enable the candidate to grow in their career.


You will

• Identify technical design and clarify implementation
• Review code to ensure meeting of Definition of Done and collaboratively code with the team
• Develop, code, test, and debug new moderately complex software solutions or enhancements to existing software in a maintenance capacity 
• Design and code critical system components by established coding standards and guidelines 
• Create new ideas to improve application performance and stability 
• Mentor and guide team members 
• Work collaboratively with the team across geographical locations 
• Resolve customer complaints with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements 
• Proactively understand the business domain knowledge
• Effectively work in interaction with other Developers, QA, and business analysts
• Develop applications for cloud computing, design, maintain and operate cloud systems/microservices and applications
• Keep cloud systems secure, fully tested, and integrated with all the other products/applications
• Understand the language of business, and develop to address the business’s needs

Must have

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on modern C++ programming 
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field 
• Experience in Cloud deployments, Preferably in GCP
• Solid tech background in creating new/or enhancing existing microservices
• Good communications and coordination skills
• The ability to respond to unexpected events
• Ability to act quickly under pressure to investigate and resolve real-time issues
• Deep knowledge of functional programming, data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and systems architecture
• Travel industry knowledge is the advantage
