Provide independent quality assurance for a trust fee remediation project. Using standardized processes, the review is to be done to ensure asset recordkeeping and fee invoice calculations are correct prior to issuing client refunds. Direct responsibility for ensuring data accuracy and adherence to thru put and timelines.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Quality Assurance audit of manually calculated asset recordkeeping and fee invoice calculation
- Identify errors and inconsistencies in data and calculation results
- Assist in defining continuous improvement plan by tracking errors detected, analyzing root cause, contributing to the development of process improvements and recommending measures to eliminate errors
- Conduct remedial training to analysts performing data analysis
- Apply internal audit standards to provide timely audit assurance and ensure data quality
Requirements:
- Minimum 7+ years of working experience in banking/financial services
- Preferred 3+ years of direct, relevant experience in audit-related work or compliance or operational risk management
- Experience with client billing and/or operations preferred
- Proven ability to manage tasks to deliver high-quality deliverables according to strict timetables
- Can exercise independence of judgement and operate with a limited level of supervision
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel analytical tools (including VLookup, data pivots)
- Excellent analytical skills, with outstanding attention to detail
- Strong organization skills and process adherence ability
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree
