- Experienced back-end API engineer

- Continuously improve our CI/CD pipelines
- Good knowledge of web security
- Javascript is not obligatory for backend (backend language is up to you)

About the position / about the project
We are looking for a senior software engineer with experience building high volume, low latency web applications to join our startup development team, a fully remote position for now. You will have experience leading, or feel ready to lead a small team that's in your image. We are strongly focussed on code quality and building secure and scalable e-commerce products in an agile environment.
As you will be joining at the start of a new API project, you will have ownership of the product, and key technical decisions as it grows. Our e-commerce APIs are designed to serve large media companies, so confidence building robust, high volume e-commerce/API products is key. We're a young technology company, so our lead engineer will form the working culture of the team. We are looking for high calibre, ambitious engineers that are also respectful, calm under pressure and hard working, this is what we value.
We are looking for excellent engineering talent with the drive to work on an early stage API project that has significant potential. Co-founder equity a possibility for the right candidate.
