For one of our key business partners we're looking for candidate for the position of Java Scala Spark Developer

Conditions of engagement:
 

Industry: EU Public Area (Switzerland)

Location: 100% remote (your choice to work in hybrid mode f.e. in Wroclaw or Bydgoszcz)

Business Trips: may occur sporadically (1-2 in a half-year - not confirmed with the client, but mentioned that they may occur)

Start: ASAP prefered (max start @ 03/2023)

Salary: 140 - 160 PLN net / hour (to be determined)

Employment: B2B (with NEXT), full-time, only long-term (stable 12+ month projects)

Recruitment process (100% remote):

• phone-interview with our recruiter (10 minutes)
• presenting your candidacy to the client
• interview with a potential supervisor (Project Leader) + technical verification (60-90 minutes)
• decision to start cooperation

• Creating and supporting complex Big Data solutions
• Performing review for Spark-Java jobs
• Implementing batch testing
• Implementing batch architecture requirements

• 4y+ experience in a similar role
• Very good knowledge of Spark, Scala
• Very good knowledge of Java
• Knowledge of big data environment
• Architect, Design, Prototype, Estimate (Performance Metrics) and create framework for performant Spark-Java application
• Expertise and hands on experience with Spark performance tuning
• Developing and designing of Spark Java batch application in Cloudera
• English on a B2+ level (multilingual project, possibility of business trips)
