We are accountable for digitizing our business and providing an optimal customer experience while collaborating with our business partners and customers. At the core of our digital transformation journey we have adopted a culture of continuous improvement, DevOps principles, and scaled Agile practices to improve our customer experience and software delivery capabilities.

As a platform engineer you are working in our System team with other DevOps experts who are relentless about continuously improving our ability to deliver software. You are responsible for enabling continuous delivery & DevOps principles for the Digital Transformation program (300+ strong). You are designing, building and maintaining our development ecosystem (processes & tools) for multiple domains, technologies and platforms to support our software development life cycle (SDLC). 

You will

• Create & maintain solutions to improve our software delivery capability (toolchain & process) with a focus on automation, self-service and sustainability for our growing ecosystem and a worldwide user base
• Administer several platforms & tools that are core to our development lifecycle, including Jira projects/schemas and engineering metrics
• Provide technical & process support to all members of the program including development teams, product owners, product managers, and enabling teams (architecture, site reliability, UX, etc.)
• Be a key contributor to program wide initiatives such as DevSecOps, AIOps,VSM, etc.
• Support the adoption of system wide standards & processes
• Automate everything & Innovate

Must have

• Integrity, collaboration, continuous improvement, critical thinking, and a lot of passion are key traits we look for
• Strong understanding of all phases of the SDLC, CICD, DevOps, and Agile practices with expertise in at least one area of SDLC
• 3+ years of software development skills using a high level general purpose programming language (Python, JavaScript, etc.)
• 3+ years of experience administering Jira or expertise in managing projects, boards, defining schemas & JQL
• 3+ years automating tasks by implementing custom solutions or using commercial robotic process automation tools
• 2+ years of experience with Jenkins (DSL, groovy scripts)
• 1+ year of hands-on experience administering one of the following tool (or alike) in two or more domains : code quality (Sonarqube), binary management (Jfrog Artifactory), security (Burp, Invicti, ZAP, XRay), requirements management (Confluence, DNG), change management (Jira), source code (Bitbucket), build (Jenkins, Bamboo), observability (Dynatrace, NewRelic), translation platforms (RWS Mantra, Transifex), test automation (Sauce labs, Browserstack, JMeter, Postman) and deployment tools (Jenkins, Shippable, Octopus, Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet), metrics (Tableau, EazyBI)... or anything custom you built!

Nice to have

• Experience using Git
• Familiar with containerization (Docker preferably)
• Cloud oriented design (AWS preferred)
• Knowledge of SAST, DAST, and Security principles
• Agile certification preferred
• Familiar with Salesforce, Oracle Commerce Cloud or Adobe Experience manager platforms
