About the project:
- Be the Distributed Computer Domain technical reference for our Client
- Maintain the Unix and Windows estate at the highest quality level from a Run the Bank perspective (incident, problems, Patching, Vulnerabilities, Certificate & Compliance) - estate size of 4500+ servers across 8 countries
- Actively engage and support infrastructure ever-greening project in group & regional datacenter
- Actively support & drive cloud migration evolution
Your responsibilities:
- Ensuring the estate get up to date according to practice
- Ensure SLA are met in 100% of the cases
- Be extremely focussed on incident and problem management
- Builds strong partnerships with all stakeholders (Platform Lead, Central team, Domain leads)
- Stakeholder Management, get feed-back and manage expectation
- Provide reporting to Executive Management and external parties such as audit and regulator when required
- Practice Head for all Unix & Windows
- Manage work life balance in collaboration with the Domain lead & CTO
- Infrastructure transition from on-prem to cloud from a technical and support perspective
Requirements:
- Years of experience in Unix / Windows, Network, Storage & Virtualization Infrastructure
- Administration and system troubleshooting
- Service Management experience in Incident, Problem & Change Management
- Knowledge of asset Management tool
- Communication and interpersonal skills – be able to articulate complex topics
- Client focused, dedicated and clear sense of priorities
- Great Team and sharing spirit
- Autonomous, rigorous and know how to deal with priorities change
- Well organize and effective time management
- Well versed with ITIL and DevOps concepts and more specific understanding of Service operation activities
- Working across cultures / time zone
- Management of a team of 10+ staff in 3 tech centers
