PROJECTIn this position, you will work in a Scrum Team responsible for the Ancillary Manager application, which creates software supporting shopping, booking, and fulfillment of Bags, Seats, and other ancillaries for airlines and travel agencies.
Team: 3 Developers, 2 QA, 1 TPM
20% front-end / 80% back-end
YOU WILL
- Develop, code, test, and debug new moderately complex software solutions or enhancements to existing software in a maintenance capacity聽
- Work with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them
- Resolve customer complaints with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements聽聽
- Design and code moderately complex applications using routine and/or advanced technology
- (May) assist in the development of software technical documentation聽聽
- (May) Create optimization programs to resolve problems聽
- (May) Design and build prototype applications
MUST HAVE
- At least 2-4 years of experience聽
- Java 8/11, Spring Boot, JavaScript, React, Redux, REST services聽
- Demonstrated knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design
- Google Cloud Platform (GKE, Pub/Sub, CI/CD, Terraform)
- Understanding of relational databases (Oracle, SQL)聽聽
- Strong communication skills in English, written and verbal聽
NICE TO HAVE
- Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering聽
- Demonstrated knowledge of Linux operating systems聽聽
- Agile experience
- Understanding of TDD practices and experience with JUnit/unit testing聽
