We are seeking a skilled Data Engineering Expert who will actively build data infrastructure for the organization and support the team with his valuable experience. - several years of experience in data engineering and software development, including building and maintaining production data applications
- expert knowledge of Scala, Python, SQL, Scala, and Spark
- higher education in technical fields such as Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, etc.
- familiarity with one (or more) functional languages, such as F#, Scala, or Haskell
- experience working with cloud-based Big Data platforms, such as Spark, Google BigQuery, Azure Data Warehouse, etc.
- expert knowledge of time series databases, data streaming applications, Kafka, Flink, and more
- extensive experience with workflow management engines, such as Airflow, Luigi, Azure Data Factory, etc.
- familiarity with Hive metastores, continuous integration tools like Jenkins, creating containerized applications using Docker, and running them on Kubernetes
