We are seeking a skilled Data Engineering Expert who will actively build data infrastructure for the organization and support the team with his valuable experience. duties:

  • design and implementation of a roadmap for building and optimizing data products to deliver the most accurate data
  • technical mentoring within the data engineering department and across the entire company
  • building a data platform for storing, managing, and processing data at scale, including scheduling and libraries
  • leading the design and optimization of data pipelines within descriptive analytics, data science, and machine learning
  • designing scalable data models
  • collaborating with the global data management team to implement data privacy compliance under GDPR and CCPA
  • continuously improving reliability, performance, scalability, and quality
  • continuously updating knowledge of evolving Big Data technology, sharing knowledge throughout the organization by enabling best practices, standards, managed processes, and relevant technologies.

we offer

  • several years of experience in data engineering and software development, including building and maintaining production data applications
  • expert knowledge of Scala, Python, SQL, Scala, and Spark
  • higher education in technical fields such as Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, etc.
  • familiarity with one (or more) functional languages, such as F#, Scala, or Haskell
  • experience working with cloud-based Big Data platforms, such as Spark, Google BigQuery, Azure Data Warehouse, etc.
  • expert knowledge of time series databases, data streaming applications, Kafka, Flink, and more
  • extensive experience with workflow management engines, such as Airflow, Luigi, Azure Data Factory, etc.
  • familiarity with Hive metastores, continuous integration tools like Jenkins, creating containerized applications using Docker, and running them on Kubernetes
