Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled AEM Developer to join our team at Samsung SDS's Hybris Development Center. The AEM Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining websites and applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) technology. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test and implement solutions that meet business needs and requirements.
Key accountabilities:
- Implements web pages, applications, web parts, and assets on the AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) Platform using a working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript CSS, REACT, JSON, XSLT and XML
- Troubleshoots and corrects front-end website and application-related issues
- Attend daily scrum meetings reporting the planned tasks for each day
- Achieve the goals defined for each sprint
- Ensure a clear understanding of epics and personas
- Provide inputs on the creation of User Stories to the Product Owner
- Estimate User Stories approved by the Product Owner
- Commit User Stories to be done in a sprint and develop the list of tasks based on the User Story
- Develop the Sprint Backlog and the Sprint Burndown Chart
- Create the deliverables
- Update Burndown Chart, Scrum Board, and Impediment Log
- Participate in Prioritized Product Backlog Review Meetings
- Identify improvement opportunities, if any, from the current Sprint and agree on any possible improvements for the next Sprint
- Participate in the Retrospect Project Meeting
Skills and attributes:
- Proactive, independent, responsible attitude
- Strong experience in working with the large organization, multiple stakeholders and big agencies
- Front End development - HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, JSON, templating e.g. Handlebars, task runners e.g. Gulp
- Experienced in WCAG 2.0-compliant code
- Mobile and Social Media API knowledge
- CMS experience (especially AEM experiences) is preferred
- Deep knowledge of the Scrum framework and an understanding on how to implement it effectively for any software project experienced using Jira
- Excellent team skills, necessary for the collaboration with the other team members
- Knowledge of analytics and tracking
- Knowledge of cross-browser nuances
- Ability to analyse business requirements from all key liaisons
Experience:
- 5+ years JavaScript Development experience
- Proficient in front-end web development using HTML5, CSS3 and CSS5, jQuery framework and Responsive Development experience
- Understanding of server-side principles and the relation to front-end & server side development and delivery
- Extensive knowledge of performance testing and front-end optimization principles
- Understands Agile methodology and introduce best practices into the process.
