ProjectWe're looking for individuals, passionate about Linux-based operating systems and virtualization techniques (mainly KVM), and eager to design, develop and test new platform solutions. The platform engineer's responsibilities also cover test automation, platform hardware maintenance, and integration testing. All of these duties and daily tasks are realized according to Scrum methodology and in compliance with Agile best practices.
You will
- Develop bash scripts used for automating the server installation and configuration process supported by the "in-house" tools and frameworks that are based on the RHEL environment
- Troubleshoot issues related to RedHat Enterprise Linux OS
- Participate in integrating platform solutions with other Application components
Must have
- Good knowledge of Linux operating systems including KVM virtualization (both administration and troubleshooting)
- At least 2 years of professional experience in development or Linux system administration
- Good knowledge of at least one: Bash or Python
- At least basic level knowledge of network protocols and functions: TCP/IP, routing, switching
- English skills at a level allowing efficient technical communication both verbally and in writing
- Experience with GIT and JIRA
- Experience in Automation frameworks, Jenkins, CI/CV pipelines
