Project
Our automotive client tests and develops electrical systems and software for cars. Ensures that modern technologies work flawlessly. Carries out technologically demanding projects in the field of testing software and electronic systems. Implements solutions that combine expert know-how, the advantages of test management, automation, and new approaches and technologies such as virtual reality, complex simulation, and continuous testing.

You will

• Develop automated tests in the test automation framework (Python)
• Develop and maintenance of functions, interfaces, or parts of the framework core
• Focus and responsibility for at least one functional topic listed: maintenance, development, commissioning, evaluation, planning, and test analysis
• Extension of the test environment and implementation of its modules in Python (communication interface of devices, signal processing, logging, etc.)
• Executions and test run evaluations and reporting
• Evaluation of reports, analysis, and verification, and validation of errors
• Work in agile sprints
• Communication of test results (bug analysis, reporting) with the development team
• Updates to existing automated SW tests according to changes in the tested SW module.

Must have

• Excellent knowledge and experience in Python 3.10
• Advanced English (written and spoken)
• Electrotechnical knowledge
• Experience in the testing process (e.g. ISTQB methodology)
• Expertise in software engineering processes on a level corresponding to the service
• Expertise in software engineering toolchain (Jira, Git, CI/CD)
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to learn
• Basic knowhow of automotive problematics

Nice to have

• Knowledge of bus communication (CAN, Ethernet, FlexRay, LIN)
• Knowledge of Java
