Project Management is an exciting area that offers lots of opportunities to grow and expand over time as you gather invaluable experience. You will have full product development and lifecycle ownership of projects that help transform the Automotive Industry to become safer, greener, and more connected than ever.

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead the onboarding of programs to Windriver tools:

• Windriver Compiler

• Windriver vLab

• Windriver TAF

• Windriver Cloud Studio

As well as working with individual programs to support engineers' transition from legacy processes and tools to Windriver.

This is a senior-level position - a critical member of the team who will be responsible for the requirements gathering, solution design, planning, execution, and closure of projects.

You will

• Combine market trends, customer needs, and product vision into a detailed description of what to build and convey that vision to the rest of the development team
• Be the main point of contact for our project stakeholders, guide them through development lifecycle, and discuss daily their detailed requirements, propose when they are not sure, and manage your product
• Work with software engineering teams to prioritize tasks, estimate timing, and plan sprint content
• Work with program management and project management to track the implementation of software features and ensure milestones are met
• Develop structured test plans for verification of prototype software applications
• Triage, root cause and resolve issues in cloud-based services, APIs,s and web-based engineering tools
• Conduct engineering tests and coordinate software POCs to analyze the feasibility and applicability of proposed software solutions
• Lead project management activities through launch, managing KPIs, managing the project plan, staying on target for goals across cost, quality, time, delivery, and methodology
• Work with cross-functional teams and manage deliverables to meet project milestones
• Manage risk activities; escalate issues promptly
• Cost & budget management. Planning and tracking expenditures and ensuring margins are maintained. Ensure financial goals around profitability and costs are met
• Develop best practices and tools for project execution
• Ensure customer and supplier relationships are smooth
• Compliance with Product Development Process requirements.

Must have

• Master's Degree in Engineering / Technical discipline, relevant work experience be a plus
• Experience within the Automotive/ Engineering industry preferred
• Proven track record of successful international project delivery and project management, including ownership of business targets and industrialization
• PMP / PRINCE2 Certification
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Understanding of project financials, budgets, and relevant costs
• Fluent English language proficiency
• Agile methodology knowledge would be a plus
