PROJECT
Join our client's global team of Cloud Architects and DevOps Engineers. The team is responsible for platform engineering for all company's software engineers globally – they deliver resilient services for an internal customer.

As a Site Reliability Engineer Lead, you will play a key role in our client's company, by leading Site Reliability Engineering Team, maintaining resilient services in the AWS cloud ud, and setting up observability, recovery strategies, and high-performance systems.

You will cooperate closely with Cloud Architects and DevOps Engineers to challenge the status quo and improve the existing architecture. YOU WILL

• Supervise a Team of Site Reliability Engineers
• Report metrics on application performance and incidents
• Act proactively and responsively to infrastructure and application failures
• Build and automate failover and recovery workflows
• Implement observability and monitoring stack for infrastructure and application layers
• Improve high availability and scalability for existing solutions
• Manage application downtime by defining and measuring SLAs and error budgets
• Design backup and recovery strategies

MUST HAVE

• Information Technology degree or similar
• 5+ years of experience in a similar position
• Leadership experience
• Planning and reporting skills
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud
• Knowledge of automation CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, or similar)
• Knowledge of how to automate and script cloud workloads with IaaC and CaaC techniques (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Helm)
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or similar)
• Knowledge of how to measure application performance and propose improvements
