What would you work on with us:
- You would conquer the world of programming and reach for the stars…in brief you would help us with the development of our text analytics and ontology management software. This part of our solution is built on top of the Java technology stack, running on Quarkus. The frontend part of the application was implemented with React. We also use triple store (NoSQL) databases accessed through Apache Jena for data storage, and C++ for some efficiency-critical parts
- You would develop products, paying attention to code quality and manageability.
Your tasks:
- Implementing new features, optimising and fixing existing features
- Implementing automated tests
- Performing code reviews
- Contributing to Continuous Integration processes
- Working within a distributed team and talking to people :)
- Active participation in Scrum meetings - daily scrums, sprint planning, etc.
What skills are required:
- Solid experience with Java (min. 5 years of experience)
- Openness to learning new things
- Algorithmic mindset; experience using efficient algorithms and data structures
- Experience with Maven, Docker, Continuous Integration tools, Linux operating system
- BsC in computing or in a related field
- Good English and Polish language skills
- Some knowledge of C++ would be a plus.
