Traffic AI develops computer vision related solutions for modern traffic analytis.
The Computer Vision team develops innovative solutions using a variety of data sources across multiple different areas. We are looking for an outstanding Data Scientist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, and implement AI/machine learning and advanced analytics approaches to develop novel solutions to high-priority scientific problems, focusing on the application of AI to traffic related projects
- Shape internal/external collaborations to define the scope of research questions and deliver impactful solutions
- Clearly articulate highly technical methods and results to diverse audiences to drive decision-making
Qualifications
- 2 years of industry experience in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, computer science, artificial intelligence, applied mathematics, electrical engineering, or similar)
- Demonstrated experience driving research and applying Computer Vision / advanced image processing techniques
- Proficiency with one or more programming language such as Python, R
- Proficiency with common Deep Learning frameworks: PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras
- Experience with state-of-the-art techniques such as CNNs, Transformers, Attention-Based Networks, RNNs, GANs, Stable Diffusion, and other AI frameworks
- Ability to effectively communicate technical work to a wide audience
Preferred qualifications:
- At least 5 years of hands-on technical data analysis and modeling experience (across roles)
- Experience developing AI models using digital data, including weakly supervised methods and segmentation approaches.
- Extensive experience with traditional Computer Vision applications such as: OpenCV, object detection, edge detection, image segmentation
- Experience with machine learning algorithms, including: random forest, SVM, boosting, neural networks, etc.
