ProjectThe project consists of the migration of several existing applications from standalone servers to the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). An additional priority is the implementation of the new product/application features at the request of travel agencies and/or airlines.
You will
- Under general supervision, develop, code, test, and debug new moderately complex software solutions or enhancements to existing software in a maintenance capacity.
- Work with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them.
- Resolve customer complaints with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
- Demonstrate software.
- Design and code moderately complex applications using routine and/or advanced technology.
- Create optimization programs to resolve problems.
- Design and build prototype applications.
Must have
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience as a DevOps and Java Developer
- Good knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Google Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine, Jenkins
- Good knowledge of Java, Spring
- Communicative, detail–oriented.
- Very good communication skills in English, written and verbal
- B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent. An M.S. degree in Computer Science is preferred.
