Project scope:
- Playing a crucial role in the development, integration, and formalization phases of solutions for Electronic Flight Instruments
- Solving programming challenges on actual aircraft displays such as Primary Flight Displays, Navigation Displays, Engine Indicators, and Crew Alerting Systems.
- Contribution to creating groundbreaking avionics software solutions that will reshape the aerospace sector, following both company standards and established methodologies within the military and/or commercial methodologies
- Designing adaptable software architectures that will grow alongside the products
- Engage in all stages of software development, encompassing design, coding, and documentation
- Tackling various technical hurdles linked to emerging technologies and existing systems
- Participating in software development processes and peer evaluations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or possess equivalent qualifications
- Having a minimum of five years of experience in software development
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C and C++, particularly within the Microsoft Visual C++ environment
- Previous involvement in avionics software development will be a strong asset
- Fluent English
- Readiness to business travels from time to time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with software configuration systems
- Familiarity with systems for managing requirements, such as DOORS
- Understanding of the DO-178 Certification Process
- Knowledgeable about communication protocols including RS-232, RS-422, A-429, A-708, CANBUS, IEEE-1394, etc.
