ProjectWe are looking for a Senior CI/CD Engineer to become a critical part of our global software team. The Senior CI/CD Engineer will primarily focus on creating reusable pipeline templates, enhancing the efficiency of our development process, and ensuring high standards of quality and reliability. The successful candidate must have a solid understanding of development infrastructure, CI/CD tools, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Our mission is to shape a world with a significantly reduced number of road accidents, fatalities, and injuries.
You will
- Design, build, and maintain reusable and efficient pipeline templates for various applications across different platforms
- Improve our CI/CD tooling and processes and provide tooling adoption guidance and best practices
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and analyze the bottlenecks in the existing pipeline and create solutions to streamline and automate them
- Provide guidance and support to development teams for implementing CI/CD pipelines into their development process
- Continuously evaluate existing systems with industry standards, and make recommendations for enhancement and optimization
- Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations
- Document and design various processes; update existing processes
Must have
- Bachelor鈥檚 degree in聽Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of proven experience聽as a聽CI/CD Engineer or DevOps聽or similar role聽in software development and system administration
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery
- Experience with聽CI/CD聽tools such as聽Jenkins, Git, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Bitbucket Pipelines, CircleCI, Travis CI,聽or equivalent
- Strong experience with containers聽(Docker)聽and orchestration systems聽(Kubernetes)
- Proficient in scripting languages such as聽Python, Bash, Shell,聽or聽Groovy
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Good communication skills聽and the ability to work well in a team
- Ability to troubleshoot complex software and system issues
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Good English skills聽(both spoken and written)
