Role: Sr. Frontend Engineer (React, JS/TS + UX)
Location: 100% remotely, the team is remote (project based in the US, Engineers in different locations)
Working hours: European with ca. 2 hrs overlap with USA
Type of contract: b2b, we're aiming at long term cooperation
Budget: 7-8,5 k USD monthly
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Collaborate closely with design, product management, architecture, and development teams to create attractive, usable, responsive, and engaging interfaces for a variety of devices
- Transform UX ideas into prototypes, establish outstanding interactions from designs, and construct reusable content modules while ensuring code maintainability
- Translate UX design mock-ups into actual code, bridging the gap between design and technical implementation
- Implement UI design guidelines to ensure that the product's client-side functionality scales effectively
- Examine and optimize app usage by tracking essential data and proactively resolving issues
- Work successfully in a fast-paced setting, adapting to rapidly changing design and technology requirements
- Work closely with backend developers to integrate front-end design into APIs
- Mentor or advocate for the Design System
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in developing React
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript, and Typescript
- Skills in building complex and large-scale responsive web UI
- Experience in front-end unit testing tools, design systems (f.ex. Google Material Design System),
- Knowledge on cross-browser testing and cross-platform compatibility
- Experience with responsive and mobile design, frontend/backend API integrations and accessibility standards
- Understanding of UX best practices
- Node.js and Nextjs skills would be a plus
