We are looking for a motivated, and proactive full-stack engineer to join the VIDOC team. You will be a core part of the team, helping to shape our stack, processes, and culture.
You will work directly with the founding team to continuously improve and scale our backend infrastructure, implement new features, and integrate AI capabilities into our platform.

The ideal individual will have:
Significant relevant experience or a demonstrated ability to quickly acquire new skills.
- Ability to deliver products rapidly while maintaining the curiosity and thoroughness of a researcher.

Qualifications:
- You have started a project from scratch. That could be a project you're working on now, a company you founded, or a side project that you built.
- At least 4 years of professional software development experience.
- Working experience building full stack applications with TypeScript and Nextjs.
- Working experience building directly for users.
- Self-directed and comfortable working autonomously.

What you will do:
- Build prototypes all the way to final products. Solve complex issues for our users
- Collaborate with our founders to gather requirements through detailed technical discussions and brainstorming sessions.
- Explore new product development areas driven by a strategic understanding of the user landscape.
- Take ownership and drive initiatives for segments within the product.
- Work on the core platform - Next.js, React, Vercel, Typescript, Tailwindcss, Shadcn
- Work on integration with GitHub, GitLab
- Work with distributed and high-performance scanning systems
- Scaling the infra to handle 10x the load
- Build quickly and reliably by choosing simple but powerful abstractions
- Experiment and push state-of-the-art for security automation
