Maintain and support applications to ensure minimal downtime and loss of productivity and service
Monitor the system performance regularly against the performance benchmarks, and proactively identify future issues, and plan to optimize performance
Follow ITIL process (incident, problem, change management, etc.)
Investigate and resolve enterprise application functionality issues. Provide second level troubleshooting support for core system issues and ancillary applications
Serve as an integrator between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet client’s business needs
Ensure that current documentation of system is maintained and updated
Skills and experience you will need:
Bachelor’s degree in field that illustrates aptitude to successfully complete the position duties and responsibilities or equivalent combination of relevant education, certifications, or work experience
Strong problem solving and analytical skills. The ability to research solutions, collaborate with existing subject matter experts, evaluate current methodology and strive for constant improvement.
Knowledge of relational database and query concepts (i.e. MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
Understanding of networking: (TCP/IP, LAN / WAN, DHCP, DNS, Routing, Switching and Firewalls)
Technical experience with Application Servers configuration and troubleshooting (e.g. IIS, Tomcat, Weblogic, Websphere, JBoss)
Experience with Microsoft Server and Linux Operating Systems
Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Good communication skills in written and spoken Polish and English
Being a team player, going above and beyond in taking additional responsibilities
Nice to have:
Experience with a variety of programming and scripting languages, including Java, .NET, SQL, Python, etc.
Knowledge of Application Performance Management tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, NewRelic
Experience with automation/configuration management using either Puppet/Chef/Run Deck or an equivalent
Experience with Kubernetes (strongly preferred) or other container orchestration platforms
Familiarity with Virtualization aspects (e.g. VMWare)
